Networking hardware has been around for more than 15 years now and come to think that a few of those networking hardware devices have already become extinct shows how quickly technology (both hardware and software develop). The umbrella of networking hardware has expanded so much that it has enabled many people to operate from offices and smoothly operate businesses from home and even small offices.

Hubs are though present even today are one of the earliest networking hardware devices. Along with these network interface cards. Now hubs are constantly being replaced by switches because of its evident inefficiency in transmitting data. Now we have many networking hardware devices that are much more advanced and great for use.
